LIO FLEX Cut Resistance Gloves

LIO FLEX Cut Resistance meets A5 (ANSI/ISEA 2016) & LEVEL E (EN388)

American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA) revised market standard for cut-resistance glove in 2016. Before the change, cut resistance was measured on a scale of 1 to 5. The NEW ANSI/ISEA 2016 now has 9 levels to measure the cut resistance (Scale of A1 to A9) and will be more easier to check the performance level and more alignment to European EN 388 market standard.

Summary. Major changes in this fourth edition of ANSI/ISEA 105 Context. Workplace exposures to sharp metal, glass, wires, heat, cold, chemicals, vibration, abrasion and other hazards cause lost time and injury across various industries from poultry processing to construction. The ANSI/ISEA 105 standard doesn’t specifically address radiation or electrical hazards. Because hand protection has such wide ranging applications, and so many test methods, related testing standards are listed in an appendix with a brief description of the test method. ANSI/ISEA 105 also lists standards for other types of hand protection that are used in firefighting, medical and other applications.heading text.
